Thank you for the information, Arran. I knew that there was a subsidiary in Colchester Brandes in the United States, but did not know that it was the main branch of the firm and in England it was subsidiary. I also did not know that in the USA this firm went bankrupt. As far as I know in the UK she was one of the leaders in the production of radios and televisions.
