1967 sitting bench console speakers
#1

Hey folks,
Some of you might remember my posts from a short time ago about a neat little AM/FM record player console I bought. I had got the record player working, but one of the tweeters was not operational. They were 64 ohms rated at 1 watt. I have been having no luck finding exact replacements. I did just buy a set of tweeters that are 64 ohms, but rated at only .8 ohms. My thinking was that I could tweek the value of the crossover cap to change the crossover frequency a little higher. How much would I have to change it to help protect the lighter spreaker? It now is at .22 at 100W. Would going to .2 mfd help?
