Put it on low ohms. It is a copper wire so the resistance will be between hundreds of ohms and a few kOhms.
4 wires - if my theory is correct, two separate coils have 4 wires, 2 for each. People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
