There are enough loonies. As long as they are harmless loonies, I don't mind. When people start dying because of their lunacies, this is where I draw the line. Science is not a point of view, it is science. Science can make mistakes but it uses scientific methodologies that are the only way to eventually get good results. This is why when presented with poppycock like "we should teach children alternative views" or "we should outlaw HIV treatment", I say "my ears are shut".

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
