53-706 winter project
#1

Expecting 4 to 8 inches of snow with 30 mph winds so it looks like winter finally is here Icon_lol!
So I am starting with this little gem for the 1st winter project.
Missing the lamp, the cabinet is a little worse for the wear, but all the rest of electronics are there (chassis & clock).
Found a schematic to work with.

Questions ......... is there a specific style/type lamp assembly that I should use?
Telechron clock.......I see the Philco part# 41-2043, is there a Telechron model number somewhere?

There is a blown resistor (47000) to begin with & someone else has worked on it before. So, I start from square one on this.

I welcome any thoughts, comments & suggestions
Springtime comes about end of April around here.

Not sure which lamp you are referring to? The pilot lamp is going to be a #47 and the 120v lamp I would use something 40w or less incandescent. LED's might generate noise.

Sorry 'bout that - it's the 120 volt lamp I was wondering about.
Did Philco make (or use) a particular type or brand of lamp base??

OK so I am half blind. The only light I see is the number 47 bulb hooked to pins 4 an 6 of the 35W4

This particular model has a dial lamp, a clock, and is a desk lamp/ am radio.
