Authentic Knob Question
Ron, Chuck or another expert,

Can you please confirm for me -- which style knob was original to this particular model of the 60 (hex or rosette)?

I've seen an equal number of pics with each type and am starting to assume it might have come with either. Even if opinion only, what would be the most authentic? (Ron, this is for the refinished 60b I had on the table in Nashville).

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Authentic Knob Question
I've only seen that cabinet style with hex knobs...but given Philco's penchant for using up old stock before moving on to new (example: that brass escutcheon on your set which was leftover from older 60 models and was soon replaced with a bakelite escutcheon), it would not surprise me if they may have used rosettes on some early production models with the brass escutcheon.
