Philco Model 70 Cabinet

Hello Guys
Does any one know what type wood was used for the Tiger stripe Trim on the 70 Front??? Never have seen Walnut with that grain.

Here is the veneer used, according to Furniture History:

Arch panel - Oriental Wood
Instrument panel - Half Round Black Walnut
Top and Ends - Half Round American Walnut
