Looking for all and any info on possibly restoring my TPA-1.
I haven’t got very far. When it comes to the battery installation I’ve already hit a snag. I’m not sure how to secure the negative springs against the batteries.

I helped a guy here with a TPA-1 long time ago.
Look up a thread by a search engine.

All in all, you might deal with ripped separated PCB conductors. That was an experimental model with PCBs not being of good quality and sheer weight of the transistors made the conductors unglue themselves.

But good find, these are rare.
