Thought maybe like to see this set. http://radiophile.com/kadette.htm Used a resistive power cord 330omhs . So it would run a little cooler in your pocket.

I can't think of any Kadette radio that isn't a forlorn piece of junk. This little job here, did work, and is cute, but is, in my mind, just barely a radio.

I have two of the 10 tube Kadette sets, that had more ballasts in them, than functioning tubes. I understand that it was the radio that brought the Federal Trade Comission down on International Radio, and ran them out of business.

They went into the camera business, and did make some decent (Argus) cameras.

Some of the Kadette creations sre cute, and I'm thankful for those who apprecrite them.
