Philco 60
#1

Just finishing up this Philco 60. Thanks to the info I found on this site and the Philco Library. The biggest help was the Evolution of the Philco 60. As with most of you, the fear of someone in the radio before well sure enough this one had. They had removed two of the bakelite caps and cut off leads on a couple of others. Surprising the radio worked before I started, so I did a little at a time then tested the radio, this worked very well. I should be able to put the chassis in the cabinet today. HooHaa.

That's what I'm running into.  Someone thought the schematic had a dot for a connection, and had incorrectly joined 2 caps at the top (my 42 & 44).
