Zenith 6S52 cadohm
#1

Hello fella's
Have a 6S52 chassis I am playing with and have a question or two about the cadohm resistor.
Mine checks,
270 ohm
112 ohm
1.4 K
5 K
and 10.1 K (this one was replaced with a 10K, but did not disconnect one leg.)

Riders specifies 250/74/83/920/4940 and 11M.
I am assuming that all but the 270 and 112 are the only values that are not specified in K ohms.
Can someone specify the correct values in todays standards to order to replace these?
I guess that  I will probably need about 5 watt resistors to build a new cadohm resistor.
Suggestions?
Have only repaired one of these before, so I am learning.
Thanks,

Murf,

You're wise just to replace the whole candohm on a terminal strip. I usually use 5 or 10 watt ceramic resistors. Your new values should be close to

250 ohms / 74 ohms / 83 ohms / 920 ohms / 4,940 ohms / 11,000 ohms. The point between the 83 and 920 should be to chassis ground.

Thanks for the reply.
I agree and will replace the cadohm as it has been repaired once already.
