Philco 41-221 Tenite Bezel
#1

I just started restoration of a 41-221. I need to know how to remove the clips holding the tenite bezel on the cabinet. I didn't want to get too rough for fear of damaging the bezel.

So here's a couple photos of the bezel and clips.

Looks like you just need a pair of angled needle nose pliers to slip into the clip and give a squeeze and a giggle.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

I was able to remove them using a small pair of long nose pliers. There wasn't much clearance to get the pliers under the clip but once I got a grip on it I was able to pinch and rock it back and forth. Looking at the photo, you can see that each side of the clip has a gripper barb to hold it in place.
