hi i'm newbe to the forum i pickup a nice 46-1226 in good cond it was refinish 25 yr ago it has a satin finish is that factory or was it gloss thank you for your comm,,,, john

Hello and welcome. Sorry for the delay in responding.

The original finish would most likely have been gloss lacquer, hand rubbed to cut down some of the gloss but not all of it.
