Cathadral cabinet question

I have a model 81 and I've seen this model with two different color schemes. Some have dark sides and a two tone front. Others have a light sides and the same two tone front. Where both of these original? If not which is correct?

Every 80 and 81 I have seen that still had original finishes used medium dark walnut on the sides and around the outside of the front, with a light application of medium walnut on the inner part of the front panel. A light application of extra dark walnut on the bottom trim gives some contrast as well.
