48-1262 Back Cover
Does anyone know what the missing back cover on my 48-1262 console radio would have looked like? I am wondering what I should do to fabricate a replacement.

Re: 48-1262 Back Cover
If it was made like the back on a 1946/47 Philco radio-phonograph, with the back covering the phonograph and speaker area (but not the radio chassis), it was thin black fiberboard.

Re: 48-1262 Back Cover
Since there is a small fiberboard cover for the radio chassis that was still in place when I got the radio, it would make sense that the main outside cover would only cover the bottom half of the back. Thanks for the help!

RE: 48-1262 Back Cover
Where can reproductions of this fibreboard backing be found?
