Philco 44d,29d,144d,or 118d
#1

I have the cabinet, speaker, and knob controls for one of the models listed above from June 1934. At least I think so based on the pictures from the Philco site. Unfortunately, the guts were removed by a "friend" with the promise of fixing them and then they disappeared altogether. Any chance of finding some compatible tubes, etc? I would love to get it working again. I love antique radios and victrolas and have several for my music room.

Short of finding here chassis do come up on ebay from time to time. Most of the time on ebay the seller doesn't what model they are selling. You can post under Items for sale on line. People smarter than me can tell what the chassis is.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!
