Philco model 41-290 dial tuning indicator
I just acquired a beautiful Philco model 41-290 console. The dial indicator/ needle is at an angle - is this normal? Should the dial indicator be straight up and down? Thanks, Phil

The pointer should be perpendicular to the scale, yes. If it's slanted, either it's mis-adjusted on the dial cord or the pointer is bent in relation to the rectangular pointer base/clip portion.
