Simple Resistor question
I need to replace a resistor on a Philco 48-200. The leads on the new resistor are shorter than the old, and will not reach the posts I need to soder them to.
Q: Can I just soder a wire to one of the leads to make it longer without causing any problems ? |

RE: Simple Resistor question
Yes and use shrink wrap or spaghetti to cover.

RE: Simple Resistor question
Or just cut the old resistor close to the body and use the remaining stubs to solder the new one to.
Here goes the ol' heatshrink again. |
