That's good news. I have not been able to find my 47-204 escutcheon. And I thought I had been doing a pretty good job in thinning stuff out. 
If it helps, the escutcheon on my 41-226 "Sled" is solid dark brown. I recently sold a 41-221 with an escutcheon that was swirled, like the 1941 eight pushbutton escutcheons that were reproduced by Larry Bordonaro, only it was lighter in color, more of a dark butterscotch.
