Pulling hair over Apex 7A!

I'm kind of late to this thread but congratulations! A radio made in Marion, IN about 80 years ago has made it all the way to S. Korea.

I'm kind of a fan of the U.S. Radio & Television sets, mainly because the model 26 was my second cathedral, and my radio was featured in a collectors print by the late Don Ensor called Past Times.

Always liked the 7A's too, but never owned that model for one reason or another. Glad to hear you you've got the old set playing well again.

Another candohm causing trouble, no surprise there, no doubt that the nichrome wire decided to uncrimp itself from one of the terminals. I'm almost to the point with these older sets of adding every resistor to the parts shopping list because of things like this.
