morzh the AB (and CD for that matter) are a bit twitchy about the tubes. National brand tubes. Ain't gonna work. Any quality brand tube NOS or used will work fine. They were in service 15 years ago at almost every avionics shop in the country. When I was at Collins our manuals for the 200AB/CD were stamped "GFE APOLLO" that's right we put men on the moon with those units as test equipment.
