Seeking Advice On How To Remove And Replace Capacitors In 37-641 Bakelite Assemblies
#1

Hello Everyone,
I am seeking advice on how to properly remove and replace the capacitors in the bakelite block assemblies in a Philco 37-641 radio. The link below shows a diagram of the underside of the radio and I plan on doing capacitors 54, 57, 65, and 68 shown on the left. Any information or articles regarding the procedure would be appreciated. Thank you.
Tony

Hi Tonym,

The following link will take you to the Phorum's Philco Library to Syl's Repair Tips:

Hope this helps.

This was written by Morzh, an expert on Philco radios.
