Where do I find the chassis number...46-1201
#1

Working on what I think was a 46-1201 and have read there is a 48-1201 which looks the same other than electrical changes.
Where do I find what model and code chassis I have?
I am looking at re-capping and there have been caps replaced over the years.
The chassis I have has two separate 40 mfd caps but have not seen a schematic that shows these. They look original.

Tube line up is 7A8, 7B7, 50Y6, 50L6 and 7C6.

Thanks for any info.

Hi Brian, and welcome.

Sorry I haven't posted sooner...I'm recovering from surgery, and I will not be very active online for awhile.

I see in your post over at the other forum that you have since discovered that what you have is the Canadian version of the 46-1201. Nevertheless, I have some info for the 46-1201 available here...and it can only be accessed by Philco Phorum members. Just look here:

http://philcoradio.com/phorum/showthread.php?tid=215

The 46-1201.zip file, which is the one you want, is a PDF file containing seven pages of changes to the 46-1201.

Hope this will be of some help to you...
