Model 19 (89) Chassis Washer Thickness
#1

What is the correct thickness (new) for chassis washers for the model 19 (code 126) - I assume a model 19 chassis is almost the same as a Philco 89? It appears that the choices at http://www.renovatedradios.com/ are 7/8"d x 1/4"t, 7/8"d x 3/8"t, or 1"d x 1/4"t. It appears that the recesses in the cabinet will just accomodate 1" diameter washers, but 7/8"d could also be used.

But the thickness choices are 1/4" or 3/8", unless you guys know of another source. I just want the correct chassis height.

Thanks!

According to Mark Oppat at Old Radio Parts http://www.oldradioparts.net/rubber.html his part number PH-184 is correct for most 1930-1938 Philcos. These are 7/8 diameter by 3/8 thick.

I have successfully used both the 1/4 and 3/8 thick by 7/8 diameter on Philco 90's.
