black box 3615
#1

i have a philco 40-215,i took that black box 3615 where the power cord comes in and i removed that .05 capacitor from that box but the wires broke off from that capacitor i am putting in a new one so where do i wire the new one in if i look at it from the ground or where the bolt goes in to the right thanks.

The Phorum Library has Service Bulletin 289 that shows how to wire new capacitors in the bakelite blocks.  See Figure 1 on first page and Part No 3615 in middle of first page, left column.  There should be a letter code on the 3615 block.  If you just had a single .05 in the block, then the code will be either OSG or OSU.  The text describes what the codes mean.
