Philco 42-360 3rd.IF can (32-3640))
#1

I am re-capping this 42-360. I found the Primary open on the 3rd. IF can.(32-3640) Red and white wires should be 14 ohms.
What can I replace this with? Also after opening up the can to replace the wires, there are no 100uuf caps  inside the can.The schematic shows  two of these in the can.

Got two answers. One connect a rf choke from the red to white wires then a small mica from the white to green wires. Or find a 455kc if output can and replace it or just the open winding.

I have a Philco 42-360 and all the electronics are working. My problem is i need a dial string diagram? The good news is i live in Springfield,Il. not far from Pawnee.
Perhaps we could get together to our mutual benefit.
