The list of my radio & TV collection!

Is there an archive of schematics for the "People's Radios", like Riders here in the US?

Чи існує архів німецьких фольксемпфенгеров, на зразок архіву американських радіо в Rider's?

Thank you, Michael. There is an archive of schemes on the site of the RadioMuseum Org, but it is paid. I use the Lange directories in electronic form. If you are interested then I can send them to E-mail ..

Tomorrow I will find the scheme of the German "folk radio" and put it here for comparison. For today I want to sleep very much - 2 o'clock in the night ... Icon_mrgreen

those are SO cool! amazing collection!

Thank you Phoose. I have a dream to create a private museum of antique radio engineering ... A very beautiful dream, but it is very expensive for me ... Icon_lol But while my "museum" exists only in a virtual form ... Icon_mrgreen Here it is ...

Of course, the similarity of design between the German Volksempfängers VE301 in 1933 or DKE 38 in 1938 with the Soviet "folk radio" in 1953 is only arbitrary, but certain parallels in the functionality and placement of control bodies are definitely seen.

But their circuit engineering is usually radically different ... Still, the difference in 20 years for progress is of great importance. By the mid 50s, Volksempfägers transformed from 3-lamp regenerators first into reflexive 3-... 4-lamp supergeterodin (ARZ, Moskvich), and then into ordinary 5-lamp radios Ogonek. Very popular wired radio receivers of the Tree Record in the hierarchy of the class "People's Radio" has always occupied a higher position, because from the very beginning were created as prototypes of American all-wave receivers type AA5 and therefore were more perfect.

Hello . After a short break, I will continue the story about my collection of antique radio. Here is a small video about the European radio of the pre-war period. This is my first work on a video editor, so be indulgent and do not criticize very much . Icon_mrgreen
