RCA 811K question
#1

Hello fellas,
Have a question concerning my 811k .
Swapping transformers and seem to have lost my wire ID tags on a couple wires coming out of the transformer.
These are the 2 largest dia wires.
One goes to pin 2 on the 6J7 tube and the other goes to pin 7 on the 6J7 tube.
Any chance these wires could be swapped or are they specific to these connections?
Apparently my id tags came off as I removed the transformer from the chassis.
Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as you have abt 6vac across the two wires your good. Phase relationship doesn't matter.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Hi Terry,
Just want to make sure I solder them in right the first time.
Sounds like it can go either way.
Thanks to all,

All,

The Philco 39-6 posts have been split off into a thread of their own.
