Hi and welcome,
It would be helpful if you could post a pic or two. 
Just as a rough guess it could be some sort of set from the early 70's or a 30's auto radio.
When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

It might be in Sam's 961-4 couldn't find anything for free.
When my pals were reading comic books
