Lamp for Philco 46-427
#1

The schematic for this set calls for a I100 bulb for the panel light. It is a bayonet type but not a 44 or 47 6 volt bulb. Anyone knowe what it is? Thanks - Joe jdgatto@earthlink.net

Joe,
P/N 34-2068 is supposed to be a type 47 bulb:

Thanks Carl. I see my mistake now. When I first tried a 47 it blew out immediately, probably a fluke. I then went to a 44 but that draws too much current. Will go to radio shack and pick up another 47 and try again. Joe

I100 is the schematic/parts listing designator - Indicator (lamps) 100.

Just like L for coils, T for transformers, C for caps, etc......
