I just came into possession of this radio/record player. It was my parents and it was stored upstairs(unheated) for the past 30 years . My mother said she thought it still worked but after getting it home, guess what?,,, Nothing . Can anyone tell me what to do now? The door needs repair as my nephew when he was a toddler sat on the door and the screws pulled up through the veneer. I plan on repairing it and give it a new finish. I remember as a young lad sitting in front of this as it was the only radio we had then. It has 5 tubes 50X6 , 35L6 , 7C6 , 7B7 and 7A8 . The 50X6 was unreadable as it was totally black. Luckily someone had written tube numbers below the sockets. Any help would be appreciated..
