Pilot lamp for Philco 42-323 code 122

Very interesting...I also have a 42-323 (unrestored). I just looked at mine and it is a Code 121...uses a 35Z5GT rectifier and a 47 pilot lamp.

Yup, sure enough, 34-2477 is a lamp designed to operate on 110 to 125 volts. The original was a 7 watt bulb. As a replacement, you can use a night light bulb which is 4 watts but will work fine in your radio and even look authentic as the original bulb had the same shape as the night light bulb.

I believe there are now LED replacements for those older night lights. I see no reason why this would not also work, although the bluish-white light may not be to your liking.
