New acquisition

I (belatedly) moved this topic to Philco Home Radios since we are discussing a Philco home radio. Icon_smile

Terry, the set you are describing is a 91RX:

The set in the Gallery photo is mine, and the cloth on the chairside unit is not original.

I had this plus an AM-only 19LZ before I moved to Ferdinand. Deciding that there was not enough room for both here, I sold the 19LZ and kept the 91RX because I see 19LZ sets come up for sale every so often, but up until then I had not heard of another 91RX other than an identical set in the collection of a friend of mine from whom I acquired this one.

My 91RX only has a single speaker. Yours was probably an early production model if it had two speakers.
