Are you certain you wouldn't like the Deforest Crosley instead? It's probably the most "Canadian" of the radios this fellow brought you? I'm sure that the parts will come up for the 16X, or is it a 316X given the Robertson screws in the cabinet? I think that the field coil for the speaker could be rewound if you could not find another, though I'm sure there is another out there, Philco used the same speaker in a number of consoles, "H" series I think they were called. The pole piece in that speaker is pressed in, so it could be pressed out, the bobbin removed, and the field coil rewound or repaired.
