Pictures would be great to have. We don't have an actual photo of a 40-82 in out Photo Gallery so it would be great to have one and add it in if you are ok with that.

I have never seen anyone selling reproduction cloth for the outside of the case. Interestingly the 1940 Sales catalog we have in the digital library only lists the 40-81T not its sister 82 with the front cover. the description of the case in the catalog for the 81T says its "smart airplane cloth" although the 74 and 88 list it as "smart airplane luggage cloth".
