Truetone 724 cabinet makeover

The red on those dials really washes out over time. If I were going to keep the radio? I might let it slide for now. If you are going to sell then yeah I might replace dialscale..one less thing for a buyer to pick at.
Both places sell the replacements/radiolaguy and radiodaze.
I havent had to replace any yet for the model but in both places the coloring of their replacements looks off to my eyes.
Check with guys that have actually purchased replacements and see if that brown outer band is more accurate than the pictures suggest. The ones made for Detrola look right colorwise but the Truetones dont. Maybe a function of the photography/

Thanks for the tip, i like radio daze better , but will check around from others on accuracy

I asked Paul Sanders Fred. He told me the one radiolaguy did is dead nuts to original..it was copied from one Paul sent along to him.
