  It looks like you will need to pick up some poplar and make a few structural replacement parts on that cabinet, what you can see looks bad enough but there is probably more damage where you can see it yet. Where did they leave this set, on a dirt floor?

I had purchased it from an antique store so it is unknown about storage. It was probably a dry storage but could have been a dirt floor. The termites were long gone and I did go up into the bad areas. Yes, some go right up to the veneer but they didn't touch the veneer, I will epoxy fill the areas that are up against veneer and throw in some new wood in the other spots. That wont happen until spring though....and after doing the guys cabinets...
