Hi, I recently came across this radio in a box of heirlooms, but despite hours of research I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I would appreciate any information anyone would have about it. I'm most curious as to when it may have been made, and what it's approximate value might be. It's a Canadian Model 57.

I wonder if Philco of Canada made that model for multiple years? My information indicates the Canadian 57 is a 1946 model, but the dial on yours matches the USA 49-500 which is a 1949 model.

  They likely did, I could look it up in the RCC manuals to find out. Like it's U.S built cousins it is not a model that interests me, the last one that I had I traded for a pre war "Plant A" AC/DC radio without so much as plugging it in.
