Help Identifying my radio
#1
Information

Hi, I recently came across this radio in a box of heirlooms, but despite hours of research I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I would appreciate any information anyone would have about it. I'm most curious as to when it may have been made, and what it's approximate value might be. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It's a Canadian Model 57.

I wonder if Philco of Canada made that model for multiple years? My information indicates the Canadian 57 is a 1946 model, but the dial on yours matches the USA 49-500 which is a 1949 model.

Ron;
  They likely did, I could look it up in the RCC manuals to find out. Like it's U.S built cousins it is not a model that interests me, the last one that I had I traded for a pre war "Plant A" AC/DC radio without so much as plugging it in.
