philco 89 123 resistors
#1

I'm currently restoring a Philco 89 code 123 I just finish replacing all capacitors and now dog bone resistors some are out of tolerance so I'm going to have to order some which I have never had to order any before and the schematics just gives ohms so do they got to be exactly like what's on schematics and if I can't find the exact ohms can I just get close and what watts should I get?

Thanks

R-22 is listed as 50000 ohms the modern replacement would be 47000 ohms or 47K. R-8 8000 ohms the modern replacement 7500 ohms or 7.5K. 70000 ohms would be 68000 ohms or 68k. I would go with 1 watt so that the leeds will be long enough. One member on the Phorum did a great job of showing how to make new resistors look like dog bones.

Here is the link to Steve's method for making dog bone redistors.

He also sells them on ebay from time to time.
