37-84 Code 121 Dial Lamp ?
#1

Hello, I have a 37-84 Code 121 Radio. I bought it this week. My Dial Lamp bulb is not working. It worked briefly for about 30 seconds. Then it stopped. I took the bulb out and is says 6-8 Volt Ray. The filliment looks good. Nothing is broken inside the bulb. Is the 6-8 Volt Ray the correct bulb for the 37-84? I want to get a replacement bulb first before I get into the connections. Thank for your help!

Hello David77, Look here for lamp info.
https://philcoradio.com/library/index.php/parts/lamps/
It has the part # 6608 on schematic. Which is equivalent to a #46 - 6v-6.3v lamp.
Don't order one off ebay. Here is one place that has them, scroll down a ways to find lamps.

It sounds like a problem with the socket
