I have the hope that the translator will not let Google ... Icon_biggrin

Actually in Ukraine it is quite easy to collect tube-Soviet radio ...))) Because the product range to the beginning of the 60s was quite poor. For example the best Soviet radio factory VEF Riga (Latvia) for fifteen years after the war has produced just 7 s mass models with the number of lamps 6, five or seven-NIL. And seven models and 11 ... 12 and lamp. They are all I have in stock ... Under the weight machines see the number of issued radio in an amount of not less than 10 000 units. But there were many limited-edition copies, which for various reasons have not been put into mass production. It is clear that when it comes to America 10,000 thousand radios as a concept "production batch" it can cause only laughter ...))) But the average mass models produced in amounts of 100 000 .... 200 000 thousand units, and in large quantities produced only very simple and deschevye 4th and 5-tube devices ..

I have another very interesting device manufacturing WEF, but he is now in the restoration - Latvia VEF M-137. Now he looks not very nice. ))) Sorry ... Photos are also very poor ...   Icon_redface After restoration lay new images.
At the end of the 50s the firm VEF has been developed with two dozen vehicles, but they were either very small series or experimental. The collections they do not occur.

..............................................................................................................................................................................

With firm VEF finished. But in Riga was another famous radio factory -  RRR "Radiotechnika" ( RRR Radio engineering)  . That range of models from 46 th to 60 th year.
.................................................................................................................................................................................
С фирмой ВЭФ закончили . Но в городе Рига был еще один знаменитый радиозавод - РРР Радиотехника . Вот линейка их моделей с 46-го по 60-й год.

Radiotechnika T-689 . 1946 year.

The peculiarity of this device is that the designers here in body size 23 x 16 inch speaker managed to put the size of 12 inches ... Icon_eek

But the sound was excellent! Icon_thumbup

Сontinue...  Icon_wink

Another representative of "Radiotekhnika" lower grade than the previous unit - "Riga T-755." 1947 Year. His feature - a full metal cabinet , which is good for shielding and protection from interference, but bad for the sound. Another feature - handed control knob on the side walls - some influence on the Latvian radio equipment of the German tradition of the 30's. The device has not yet been restored, but standing in line for restoration.

Next machine "Raliotehnika"  firm - a model of "Riga-6." 1950 Year. A small device, but it is very hard - also metal cabinet. The device after restoration ... There are two versions of this radio - differ only in the size scale.
An early version of Riga -6.

Later versions of " Raliotehnika"  "Riga-6".  Large scale

Very interesting to see these radios!  Thanks!

 Thanks! Frend.  Icon_rolleyes
Radio engineering firm in the USSR was considered the most creative and a 58-year leadership has selected the firm VEF. But the most interesting thing that both of them from the same town of Riga, Latvia ... Mr. Google a good translation?
#27

Well, the gist of it can be understood so thanks to Mr. Google for that.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Continues ... "Riga-10" - a model premium manufacturer " Raliotehnika". 1954 year. A distinctive feature - an unusual design, 12-inch speaker in a small cabinet and a great sound.

You have a nice collection. Icon_thumbup

M R Radios   C M Tubes
#30

Thank you, Steve. Continues ... Two models 6-tube sets of the same firm "Radiotechnika" Riga , 54 years old. . Both are called "Daugava", but one device is a radio receiver, and the second - radiogrammofon.

"Daugava" radio receiver...Restoration of the device is not over yet - we need a new grill ...

"Daugava" radiogrammofon...I really like the design of this radio.

A unique feature of the gramophone that he is at the bottom of ... flip scale. But ... until restoration ...
