Ok,
I get it, the clock face. You said dial. Looks great but mine is in good condition. Kirk Times I have been electrocuted in 2021

How's clock dial is different from face?
 I was surprised myself as I saw yours is in good shape and then you two are talking replacement.....

On the current Ebay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-1931-Phi...2c83027ec0 I see that the dial light works but hums. Strange, I think I would replace the dial light; I don't think LED's hum.

He means the radio hums. The sentence is not well constructed, but it has two subjects and "it" methinks refers to the radio.

Sorry - the 70 shield was not a part of the shipment; he probably does not have it in stock. So, if you could get one elsewhere - get it.
