39-55 wireless restoration
#1

I’m relatively new to the forum, but I thought I would find an existing thread on restoring these wireless receivers.  Am I simply missing something? I did a couple of searches and turned up very little information.

If you are not finding anything using the built-in Phorum search, then do the following:

Go to google.com

In the search box, type in Philco 39-55 site:philcoradio.com

This turns up a number of threads on the 39-55.

If you still aren't getting enough info, try changing your search to Philco 39-116 site:philcoradio.com

While the 39-116 has two SW bands in addition to AM, the Mystery Control circuitry is basically the same as the 39-55.
