How does one get ahold of Chuck Schwark? I was wanting to contact him about getting all service info from him for a 38-690. Didn’t he provide a complete “packet” with service info and a large schematic?

That was quite some time ago.
Even though a few years ago when the question was asked about Chuck, it was answered by someone that he had been dealing with medical issues but got better, his website has since stopped being updated, and I have not heard that he provided these services anymore. This said, I used On-line Riders, and it was sufficient, though I once ordered sch for 37-116 from Chuck and, of course, his was superb quality. But Riders is workable. Also, we have this here (Dale, I guess, put it all in): probably better quality scan than what Nostalgiaair.org has. https://philcoradio.com/library/download...l.%202.pdf People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Chuck is no longer active and his website is now archived here on our site with his permission: https://philcoradio.com/repairbench/
As morzh pointed out we do have, in our library, the service info for that set and everything from 1928 through 1953. Most of that service info came from Ron I believe and Nathan who organized it and coded the pages for the gallery and library. Dale created a cross reference document that can be very useful. Just FYI, here's Chuck's bio from his archived website: https://philcoradio.com/repairbench/bio.htm

Sorry to hear that about Chuck, I know it's been a very long time. I've been meaning to ask about him.
Back in the day I used to get the packages of schematics from him. Super nice. I since have accumulated a full set of Riders and occasionally I will scan a page or two for members of any group. Wherever Chuck, is I hope that he is doing ok healthwise. Thanks to Philco dotcom for archiving his content and such. Gary

I got ahold of Chuck's family in 2024. He had experienced memory loss due to MCI (mild cognitive impairment) at at that time could recall very little from his website or radio hobby. His family was put in touch with the Phorum admin, who were able to archive all of his work.
