This is a letter from Philco’s Executive Vice-President, William Balderston, to Bing Crosby, dated December 8, 1947. I obtained this from the estate of Bing’s longtime writer, Bill Morrow (who wrote the Jack Benny Program prior to joining Bing post-war). The pencil notes are in Bing’s handwriting, and read “To Morrow – Bing 12/10/47”, “It’s about time! from Bill – Bing”, and “Hold this in file philco???” (last word not legible).
