It appears that no dial cord stringing diagram has ever been published for the models listed above. These models were made between 1932 and 1935, and many of the sets listed above are very popular sets.

The drawings below illustrate how the dial cord should be strung on these models. In the illustration below, the dial cord is shown in red.

This original Philco illustration is a side view of the dial drive mechanism, and clearly shows the two grooves in the lower pulley.

Note that the lower pulley has two grooves. As you can see in the illustration above, the dial cord comes down, goes part way around the inner groove of the lower pulley just enough to go up toward the upper pulley, then up and halfway around the upper pulley, back down and around the outer groove of the lower pulley just enough to go back up again to the spring which hooks into one of the three slotted “teeth” of the dial assembly as shown above. Note that the dial cord does not go completely around either of the pulleys!

Models 49 and 118 have a slightly different dial drive mechanism, with the upper pulley being separate from the tuning shaft. But these dial assemblies should also be strung as shown in the same manner as shown above, utilizing the upper pulley instead of the tuning shaft for the dial cord.
